GoPro alternative for tween

My 12 yr old wants a GoPro type camera for his birthday in two weeks.
It's for filming underwater when snorkelling and also to use when he goes skiing, or on his bike.

Our budget is under £100

Any suggestions as to what we should look for or what to get? This is all new to me and I don't even know where to start looking

We bought a cheap one off amazon - it was fine for tween stuff. They made videos jumping into the pool etc!
