Recommend some nintendo ds games foe my six year old dd

I am buying a nintendo ds for my dd and want some games recomendations, she wants the big brain academy but any other ideas, she is a real girly girl.

Animal Crossing or Pet Hotel are good. Animal Crossing is a bit like Simms. Its a town that you build up and buy a house etc. Pet Hotel is a bit girlie! Its like a vets/rescuse centre for animals. Same kind of format as Animal Crossing. There's also Nintendogs, although it gets a bit annoying with dd constantly telling her dogs to 'sit'!

she would like animal crossing as she loves to play zoo tycoon on on computer.

I see they have zoo tycoon on ds but can it be played on such a small screen

have found cake mania which she also loves to play.

How much is the average game?

do the same games play on nintendo ds as the ds lite?

Yes they do. I think the DS games are slightly bigger and there is an insert on the back of the Lite that you need to pull out and then they fit.

We've got Zoo Tycoon and it seems fine, although I do worry about dd's eyesight when she's on it for a long time.

My girls love Tagotchi Corner Shop 2 for DS. It is a shopping centre/mall where you get more shops that get bigger the more you play.

they love animal crossing too.

DD is 7 and just loves Charlottes Webb. (she too is very "girly")

We have both DS lite and the normal DS, games seem to fit both ok, have to be honest havent noticed any difference.

Gameboy advance fit into the back of either DS. HTH

lol icod, there was a seller on ebay selling a ds with ten games thaat seemed suspiciously cheap so I avoided that.
