popsycal bought for dd and tbh she's never been that into it. TBH I think at that age they prefer a cuddle on your lap with lots of good books. Bad buy in my opinion.

that is what i thought.....just starting to think about xmas pressies....

Don't mention Christmas DD now 4 and TBH she's got everything she could possibly need already.

Things that have been well used: dressing up clothes, a wee trampoline (with handlebar) that's STILL in the living room and used every day, a musical globe and a wee piano and stool. Have you already got a ride on tractor?
DD was also well into jigsaws (but maybe that was nearer 2.5?)

Any ideas for a 4 yr old.

p.s. if you want to spend more, but Xmas maybe not the best time: Her most used pressie is TP climbing frame.

pops we looked at this for dd and it's basically a paper book stuck on hard plastic not to good at all.

You probably already know about the fabulous Tomy Aquadraw, but just in case you don't...........

ds got one for a present last Christmas and has 3 books although I think its only been used twice. I wouldn't buy it.

I would wait until DS is 3 and then buy the standard Leappad as you get more choice of books. My DD was bought one for her 3rd bday and she loves it - I was surprised how quickly she got to grips with it.

It does help if they have a favourite character (like Pooh) as then they enjoy the books more.
