...are the brakes easy to put on? i can't put mine on with my foot- they're too stiff. it's a real struggle to do it with my hand, too. also, the buckle is so incredibly stiff and its v tricky to release.

is yours like this? should i take mine back, dyou think?

I have one and mine are alittle stiff, i bought mine 2nd hand but if its new i would tske it/send it back.

mine's rubbish, but it's 4 years old...and the design may have changed. read the review of quest on MN reviews and lots of people complain about the brake. fantastic pushchair otherwise and you get used to not using the brake!

ah, very interesting. what about the buckle? its so stiff that my mum cant use it.

noonar · 26/07/2007 13:53

harness?dunno

tassisssss · 26/07/2007 14:02

ah, the clip thingy that you strap them in with...of course that's a buckle! i thought maybe you meant the clip bit at the side that holds it together when folded up! The former is indeed a little stiff (well it used to be 4 years ago when new, has loosened).

Honestly though it's a fantastic pushchair!

moljam · 26/07/2007 14:12

it is i loved mine-wish i still had it!

CarGirl · 26/07/2007 14:19

The brakes can def be tricky it is their only bad point, if it is new I would take it back and ask for a different one as you should be able to do it.
