Help I have good friend whose dh is my dd's godfather. I want to get her something special for her 40th. She is not really "into" anything IYKWIM, ie no obvious hobbies. Only wears gold jewellery so can't afford that really. Want to spend about £40. She is swiss so no cuckoo clocks or cheese as she has plenty!

Something frivolous? A bottle of champers or is that too obvious? A voucher for a day at a spa? You may need to go halves though as I think they are usually a bit more expensive that £40. Sorry - got the same problem but for a male friend who has everything already!

Thanks Rowlers, prob is she is member of nice spa, has wine/champagne coming out of her ears as her dh is big wino type.

What about one of those handbag Chanel perfume sets, think they are £40-ish, nice packaging etc. I've got the Coco one, think they also do No5 & No19
