I need a new mobile..... suggestions and advice needed

I need help. I can talk and talk about computers, pda's etc etc but know nothing about good phones.
I want to get a new mobile, perphaps one with a flip top(IYKWIM). Had my current one three years and the battery is slowly dying to decided to treat myself. I like small ones that can fit it a pocket/bag/ Not bothered about one with too many gadgets like camera etc etc as would never use it.

Has anyone got any good suggestions.

DS2 has a nice dinky one, it's the Samsung A800 - has flip top and does different coloured flashing lights when it rings. You can get a "reconditioned" one from Virgin for £50, it's how we got his and it was new really, it's just one that someone changed their mind on or something. It's bottom left on this page - tried to get the details page up but it's not working atm.

Orange also do a Motorola V600 and if you go instore, they will knock £50 off for switching to orange (i;m with O2), plus probably a trade in.

thanks for ideas. I also just rang vodafone( I have a fab tarriff years old with them so don't want to change, all calls after 7 free and at weekend, they won't offer it anymore)

But they have been great, so helpful and gave me a long list of free phones I can get that are great, the girl also said she will try and get me the latest model of a shap phone that she loves. all for free. yippeeee
