Car advice: Nissan Qashqai

[shhhh]

Im looking at changing my car and have fallen in love with the Nissan Qashqai...Anyone have any experience of it.? Anyone seen it.? I have only so far seen pictures of it and don't think I have passed any in rl yet....Anyone know its size.? Is it bigger same as the X5 or X3 etc...Dh thinks it may be quite smaller than it looks but im not sure...What about boot space.? I have a toyota verso atm and wondered how it compares.

Just wondered if anyone has any experience of it.

It is pretty small (looked at one in school car park !). Not much longer than Corolla Verso, I'd say, but wider and higher at front.

Thanks lizs...so would you say it about the same size at a verso..? Boot space what would you say.? Small..?

I've seen it and really liked it. I thought the boot was a good size, though I have a Honda Jazz at the mo so my comparison not the same as yours.

I liked the "look" of it most.

Honda jazz...not sure what size it is..what size is the jazz similar to.?

I also love the look of it. Think its very similar to the audi Q7 which I think is devine although not keen on its price tag .

Thing is, atm I have the verso and its rammed with baby stuff..double pram,change bags and shopping etc when needed and tbh its a good size for me. Dh is wanting me to get one the same size BUT I keep trying to talk him around by saying a double pram isn't needed forever and may be out of use within a few months. Don't think he is convinced.

Prob try and get a look at it tomorrow but think it may be a no go'er . God I hate setting my mind on things...

Honda Jazz ia a tiny bit bigger than fiesta/corsa. Its a supermini

think I will take a look tomorrow. Thought there may have been a mner with one.....

Misdee had one for a few days when her car was being fixed! dh is ordering one soon!

so go on then..You can't leave it at that..! Obviously dh is ordering one as he likes it..?? How is it for space..? How many kids/pram do you have..???

Not managed to get to the dealers as been sat in all day waiting delivery of dh's new mobile BUT hoping to go later on....

sorry- no idea- i left him to decide what car to get- i have my own car that we use for family days out etc- he did say it isn't massive, about the same size as the note from what he was saying, but it comes with loads of nice stuff as standard kit!

hmmmmmmmm ther qasqai was PITA. i hated it lol.

boot is a lot smaller than my nissan (tino), it felt too big, but was actually small. inside was dark as windows and small and bad visability, loads of blind spots.

i wouldnt buy one.

i did end loving the astra estate in the end and that is on my list as a family car as 3 car sdeats fit in the back. wouldnt work that way in the qasqai.

Well I have seen it tonight. The colour put me off as it was bright red/orange so trying to get my head around that! I agree it is smallish and compared to my verso it is smaller BUT I do like the look of it so im stuck...I have requested to have one as a dem for a day, just to allow me to use it as I would iykwim.
Don't think dh was over to impressed with it. Thing is that although its a smaller car than my current one I think I may like that . Means less junk needs to be carted around!

Any other views/opinions...
