Stokke Xplory - why should I not get one?

I have an Emmaljunga Edge Sport (Or whatever its called) and a Maclaren Techno for taking away/public transport. Now that DS is getting more interested in looking around him when we are out and about I'm interested in getting the Stokke as he can sit high up and I can talk to him as we whizz along. The Emmaljunga pram/carrycot was great for taking shopping on foot etc but with the seat unit on its pretty humungous and a little tough to handle around town. I decided against a Bugaboo but everytime I see one I feel envious because they are cute looking, but I can't help being disappointed by the quality of them. When I tried one out it felt quite lightweight and a bit tacky. So I'm thinking the Stokke since I like the fact that DS could face me and be high up.

Argh what am I thinking I am supposed to be decluttering.

get one! But people do stare at you

I love my Xplory. You will find that you get loads of comments though (mostly positive!). DD2 is almost 2.5 and we chat all the time when she's in it. I look at all the other silent babies and toddlers in their forward facing buggies and feel quite sorry for them sometimes!

Because they are frighteningly expensive and you have two perfectly good pushchairs already?

(how are we doing on convincing you?)

i got one second hand off ebay. absolutely loved it at the time. was half the price as new.
gave it away to someone on here in the end (supposed to be decluttering too).

ebay!

Check the chassis, if you want to use a maxi cosi car seat with it you need a new chassis.
