Hi
I was hoping someone could help me with buying a new car, well new to us.

At the moment i have a 206 SW, and am finding it really hard to get DS in and out of it without hitting his head each time{poor sod}the car seat we have is a maxi-cosi iso-fix so it comes up quite high,we didnt have this car seat when we got the car, this was the only seat that would fit in the car because of the seat belts.

so am looking for something big enough but not to bulky as i am only 5ft nothing high head room large ish boot but not to pricey.
if anyone has any ideas i would love to hear them.

Get yourself a Proton - cheap and really good runners. As long as you don't mind looking slightly unncool you can't go wrong.

I mean uncool, naturally. We paid £6000 for ours second hand just over a year ago. Have had no problems with it.

I have a skoda fabia which is fab, TDi engines are the best and you can get 'comfort' models with all mod cons. Sadly I only have an Sdi engine which isn't quite zippy enough for me but as a family car the 'estate' versions are plenty big enough. It takes the britax evolva 123 which is a low car seat suitable from 9 months - 11 years.
