Has or does anyone use amber bracelets for teething?
Do they work. Pros/cons.

TIA 😘

They do not work, how could wearing a stone topically help with the pain of teeth pushing through gums? It’s a placebo effect as teething comes in waves, and every parent that puts one on thinks ‘oh it must be the bracelet’. They are also a choking / strangulation hazard.

Give your child proper teething gel or something cold to chew.

I don’t want to sound rude, but if you were having dentistry work done, would you want the dentist to give you a numbing gel on your teeth or put a bracelet round your wrist Hmm

There's no science to back it up, everything is purely anecdotal.
The most it does is make the parent feel better that they're helping.

If you spend less than 30 seconds googling you can find information on amber and teething which will tell you have unscientific the claims are and how much of a choking hazard beaded jewellery is for babies.

There is such a thing as placebo by proxy which will account for some of the testimonies from parents who swear they worked. The rest will have 'worked' due to pure coincidence.

You may as well save your money and just rely on the power of prayer instead.

Please don't use them.

Ah ok I won't bother with them then. Thanks everyone :)
