HELP! Need to buy Christening outfit for dd but ONLINE

I need a christening outfit for dd who will be 8 months when she is christened. She's already crawling so a gown is out of the question. she's not a frilly baby but I want something that symbolises the occasion. I'm not bothered about getting more wear out of it. October Christening. Plus I'd prefer to get it online. Marks have a dress but can't find it online. Don't want to spend silly money but want her to look beautiful.

Kids Window I think there is a link to this site from MN homepage too with discounts maybe?

I got DD's gown from Next but it was long. Not sure if they do other styles there.

Try La Redoute or Vertbadet. I bought dd1s christening outfit from Vertbadet last year

Ailsa · 10/09/2004 21:26

What about having one made. I made one for dd1 when she was 13 mths. I can make one for you if you want - wouldn't take long. Get in touch if you want.

A couple of pics here

That's beautiful ailsa!

Juliehafrancis · 10/09/2004 21:35

Why don't you try Ebay?
I got Dd a lovely monsoon christening dress which was brand new for only £25 (cost 45 in the shops)

Thanks Hulababy, I'll be doing the same one for dd2 (when I get round to arranging it) but with different colour roses and ribbon.
