Oops these! Also where can i see in RL the Hauck? The seat looks like it doesnt sit up straight is this true? If so may be no good, DD likes to be very upright.

icandy cherry seems to be having reliability issues at the moment, loola is heavy and horrible- go for an infinity, any independant shop will stock them, or mothercare brand it under the name of maui.

is the infinity not heavy? Or does it not feel heavy when pushed.

melsy · 13/07/2007 15:33

Hauck infinty is lovely , but as mentioned it is heavy coming in at around 12kg+. I took it off my list as my current one is 7.5 kg. There were some deals on kiddicare a couple of months back.

nearlythere · 13/07/2007 15:35

umm the infinity heavy???? i have dumped my bugaboo in favour of an infinity! Much better buggy imo!

ProjectSeverus · 13/07/2007 15:36

does it fold with the seat on?

melsy · 13/07/2007 15:44

Is it the lighter end of those styles then , nearlythere ?

nearlythere · 13/07/2007 15:46

deffo the lightest of that breed! The buggy will fold if the seat is forward facing if not you have to take it off first!

ProjectSeverus · 13/07/2007 15:46

whats the icoo pico is it the same?

nearlythere · 13/07/2007 15:48

nooooo, the icoo pico is only one way facing and is a lot heavier! they have the icoo pico ipod now which has speakers in the hood s that baby can listen to music! Cool huh! but the infinity is a better buggy!

LowFatMilkshake · 13/07/2007 15:50

My experience of hauck is that they dont make products with removeable covers - a must with babies - although it might just be the one item I bought!

ProjectSeverus · 13/07/2007 15:51

ahh. thank you.

nearlythere · 13/07/2007 15:53

most have removable covers- certainly at the top end of the ranges. infinity does!

MrsBadger · 13/07/2007 15:55

have you pushed any of them in real life?

if not, go do it

you won't believe how different they feel compared to how they sound on paper - we ended up with something a long way from what we expected because our top choice was just rubbish to push.

nearlythere · 13/07/2007 15:57

she's right you know
Mrs B always the voice of reason !

SlightlyMadSpider · 13/07/2007 15:58

And try and push them with a child or sack of potatoes in. They will be totally differnt again with a 15kg toddler in...

SlightlyMadSpider · 13/07/2007 16:02

Hauk infinity at what appears to be a fabulous price although I am not sure if you want teh carry cot. I guess you could look into selling it on ebay?

sarahlou1uk · 13/07/2007 16:43

Had Infinity when dd was a baby and still in car seat as Graco one would fit onto chassis. When she got too big for car seat, sold Infinity and bought Loola as I wanted her to face me and also, to be able to fold buggy with it in rear facing mode. Infinity would only fold with the seat facing forward - you have to remove seat and put pram in 2 parts in car if you want it rear facing. Loola is very heavy to carry and push compared to Infinity but a doddle to fold and store in the car. Preferred Infinity to push as it was much lighter, but it did only have a baby in it and not an 11 month old as my loola now does!

sarahlou1uk · 13/07/2007 16:44

ps. I bought my Infinity from online4baby on ebay for £79. I only bought pram part though, not carrycot or car seat.
