Cheapish 9 months + car seats? Graco ones any good

Hello all! We don't use our car very often so I don't really want to stretch the somewhat fragile family finances unnecessarily by spending tons of money on the next stage car seat. Are the cheap ones really bad? Or adequate if you don't use the car much? We rarely use it for local trips, mainly for long distance visits to friends - maybe every six weeks.

mummytosteven i had a graco one fords it was ok but the material it was not breathable the sitting position was very angular and it wasnt well padded-it was ok to carry though
this time round i have a bebe confort elios and it is great and it was only £60 which is reasonable for any car seat-its little a bit big to carry but if youre not using it to mch its ok
its very safe comfortable and the seat belt fastenings are good
its from a little shop in bury which you can probably get to heres the site

sorry im not quite with it this morning its nine months + there are some great deals he has on these (better than the stage 0 seats .there all under saets on the site the bebe confort one with safe sides is £220 in vertbaudet (want this one but havent got round to buying it yet-hope you dont get the last one!!)

Hi Earlygirl only just noticed this + thanks very much for the info ... will try the nappyline web site now. Not sure if I want to spend as much as £69 but know what you mean about the graco fabric not being breathable!

its not too bad if its not a carry seat
see the bebe confort seat on the site its a bargain £220 in vertbaudet cataalogue it was £90 last time i was in shop and its from about 9/12 mnts to 4 years
keep meaning to get one its way better than my britax trio thing
