Gorgeous coats from Tesco

I've just bought dd2 the most scrumptious winter coat from Tesco, raspberry cord with a fleecy lining. They also had a really nice beige cord one for boys, also with a fleece lining. Aged up to 5, I think.

Well yes, but I was just pretty stunned to find something I really liked (and wished they made in grown up sizes).

£15. I looked on their website to see if I could post a picture but there aren't any clothes on there, sadly.

that's a great price! will have to go in the shop this week and have a look.
no, they don't sell clothes on their website. they used to over 2 yaers ago, they had a baby&toddler clothes and equipment section, usually at reduced prices and quite nice things for tiny babies but they stopped it now.

I just loved the girl's one especially because there's NO fancy bits all over it, just a modest bit of fake fur round the hood. No bows, lace, sparkly bits, sequins, motifs, etc etc - very unusual.

that's exactly what i like: no extra bits. what's the point in all that. i mean, the children are so small anyway, you don't get to see the child for all the glitter and fluff.

For those looking for coats for the winter, I noticed early that Woolworths have quite a lot of coats in the sales at the moment. Might be worth a look.

Thanks Hulababy. Will have a look. DD had a lovely fleece coat with a hood from there over a year ago and I really liked it (beige with some light pinkinsh embroidered flowers). Great for autumn and spring.

No earlybird. Need to take a trip to Tesco to have a look. I'll try and make one in the next few days.
