Getting a white woollen baby shawl white again!

My dear son-in-law was being helpful and washed a new white 10% wool shawl along with his jeans and other dark clothes. Now it’s a dingy off white. Can anyone suggest how I can restore it to its former brightness, please?

Soak it in vanish Crystal white, cool wash, and hang in sunlight.
