Help! Need to fit some gates but can't find any that will fit our stairs. Basically the stairs are very narrow and steep with walls on both sides but the only place to fix a gate at the top has the newell (?) post there which isn't strong enough to take a gate. None of the usual ones will work because of the post and the ones that work like a blind also have the same problem.
What do people do when they have strange stairs? Do you get them custom made?
Any ideas much appreciated.
