Lamb/Sheepskins for Baby

Has anyone any experience of using natural shorn lamb or sheepskins as a playmat.

Done a bit of reading up and they seem very popular in Oz and NZ but not so in the UK.

Would welcome your experiences/views and details of where you bought yours.

Thx

I use them for the pram and for sleeping - would not be without one
they get filthy if you use them as a playmat and within 6 wks they are wriggling off them.
Don't pay masses get to Ikea

I have them everywhere! I got mine from John Lewis and also have one coming from some website I'm trying to remember.

I have them in buggys, on changing station with a cotton square over it for easy washing, I have one ready for new baby to lie on in chair or wherever he or she lies.

I love them!

I got my ds's lambskin from www.kiwi-sheepskins.com - it worked out about £35 which included the shipping from New Zealand! I cannot stress the quality of it - amazing. My dd has one and I thought they were all pretty much the same but my ds's one is so much softer/better quality
