Question about water dispensing fridges

Do you fill them up with water or do you need to have a water supply connected to the fridge?

either. some need to be plumbed in. MIL has an american style one that is splumbed in. they have to use a water softner thing as well as we live i na v hard water area.

Some of them need VERY expensive filters.

WE were quoted £50 for our filter from Currys, dh did an internet search and got 2 for £14 so look around, ours is plumbed in

We've ordered it now! LG with a water and ice dispenser... Dh reckons we can plumb it in, if necessary - hope so!
