I'm looking to purchase a sleepyhead deluxe from John Lewis but as it's not cheap I wanted to know what people think- do you use it a lot? Do you find it helpful? Thanks

We used it and it was great!

We got one when my little boy was 8 months old as we were exhausted and willing to try anything to sleep better .
It has definitely improved the sleep as I think he feels cosy and snug ( his favourite place to sleep is in my arms so this is the next best thing ! )

He has gone from waking up 6-10 times per night to 1-3 times per night over the last 2 months , I'm not sure if this was natural progression or the sleepyhead but I'm inclined to say the sleepyhead helped

Thank you, did you use it in their cots only or around the house?

Hi we got the sleepyhead when my son was 6 months and so glad we did! He sleeps so much better in it. Although he would rather be held to sleep but it has made life so much better. Wish we got it earlier tbh. We put it in the bed at first and now it's in his cot.

I had it from birth and used during the daytime next to me on the (v big) sofa for naps, then at night it fitted into her crib next to my bed perfectly. They're lovely and snug and I used an angelcare monitor underneath no problem. If you can afford a spare cover that will make your life easier when it comes to sick etc. Good for tummy time too 😀

Would you use a growbag or just blankets when it's bed time?

I used a gro bag but I think blankets would be fine too, think we had blankets for daytime

Have you tried a big towel to make a baby nest? We found our DS was struggling in the Moses basket and Snuzpod but we’ve rolled up a big beach towel and put it under the sheet now he has a nest to sleep in and he sleeps really well. We wanted a sleepyhead but couldn’t really afford one, and the towel trick works!
