...anyone know here I can get one? Have looked on Google and found a few on Ebay which, although they look lovely, look a bit battered. Think Habitat useed to do red ones but not sure if they still do. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Odd suggestion but have you tried a camping/habadashery shop?

Titania · 06/09/2004 14:43

buy a normal one and some enamel paint and make yourself an original just the way you want it?

JuniperDewdrop · 06/09/2004 14:45

fab idea Titania!

I have got some bright enamel wear but it was from spain! i know a local gift shop has some white with red and blue dots/stripes on it which is lovely. i will try and find out the brand for you

Tinker · 06/09/2004 14:56

Oh these suggestions all sound great. Hadn't thought of doing it myself.

Fio - that sounds like just the sort of thing I'm after

have you seen these?

this teapot looks lovely but its american

these do red ones

this stuff looks nice, but a bit pricey

I will stop now! i could look at enamel ware all day, it is one of my favourites. i will check the brand of that local stuff when i go into town tommorrow, but it very reasonably priced. they have got a HUUUGE bowl for about 12 quid and it looks really nice

Frenchgirl · 06/09/2004 15:14

is that the one???

they also do it in green or blue

I want one!!!!

fio2 · 06/09/2004 15:17

no the stuff in the shop is whit with red dots and a blue trim and much much cheaper !

that one is gorgeous though, isnt it?

Tinker · 06/09/2004 17:34

Oh that one is gorgeous isn't it? Bit pricey for a bit of painted tin though. Am waiting with bated breath for fio's post tomorrow

Is it just a coffee pot you are after tinker? I might buy it take a photo and e-mail it you and if want it say and I will post it you, if not I have conned myself into spending more of my money I have been desperate to buy some more for ages!

fio2 · 06/09/2004 17:40

or i suppose i could take a photo in the shop, how weird would that be?

Tinker · 07/09/2004 09:15

LOL fio at taking a photo on the shop. Yes, juat a coffee pot I want. But since enamel ware is so lovely think I could end up acquiring more...
