Bought an epilator and would like some help !

Well after shaving all my life i have taken the plunge and bought a Philips Satinelle Soft.

I tried it last night and it seems really good, although i found it more of an ouch rather than an oooh in places

This morning i have noticed i have some lumpy bumpy areas....is this normal ? They are not red or itchy so i just presume that it is my follicles complaining !

Should i be doing this after a bath, using talc, moisturising lotion or a bottle of wine It is also not as smooth as shaving, but i think this might be more my technique. Does this happen to anyone else?

Any help would be gratefully received,
em

Ouch! Probably similar to what happens after waxing, they should subside in a day or two. Probably best to moisturise after or apply cold flannels - and a bottle of wine might help . I haven't tried epilating, though have tried everything else! I found waxing the best, but also the messiest.

Wine first, make sure washed first but no moisturisers or anything, cool afterwards and apply only lotion designed for after waxing or epilating as the wrong stuff can sting like &&%&^$$£&.
