Have you heard of TDA Appliance Bargains - based in Scotland. (www.appliancebargains.co.uk)? Their prices are really competitive - certainly on AEG. Anyone?

No, but we got ours from www.rtd.uk.com, and were so impressed we went on to get tumble dryer, dishwasher and fridge from them too. I recommend them.

we got our kitchen white goods from www.biasco.com. They were great.

Have also heard good things about 'buyers and sellers' - low prices, don't know about service.

Am having a little giggle at you kicking it Nutcracker!! Twiglett - ours has been leaking for weeks but had to bite the bullet today and disconnect it and like you, am going mad without it - already! Don't think on-line disconnect and remove old one, that's the downside. Maybe some places do. Lulupop and Bluebear - thanks, I'll look at those sites now ... because I'm in N. Ireland it knocks a lot of suppliers out cos they won't deliver ... you'd think this was the back of beyond!!!!!

Comet have a connection and removal service. I know they have a bad rep in some ways but I have not had any probs with them. Standard delivery is £13.95 for only one appliance, so the connection part is quite cheap, esp if you buy 2 things!
