Help I need charcoal dark grey school trousers for DS size 9-10. Usually get from woolworths/ladybird. Not in stock. Can you get them online?

Elastic waist as he has a tummy. Waist 27" inside leg 23". Teflon coated. Not with combat pockets.

Where do mnetters suggest for good quality?

Thanks

M & S - I got DS2 (size 12) 3 pairs off ebay, £1.99 each, big bargain but iffy if you need them quickly! They are elastic backed and excellent quality.

Have you tried the supermarkets? Tesco/Asda? Sainsburys? (they have some Adams uniform in my local small branch). Matalan? (Not sure which if any have elastic in waist though.)

Ooh, what about the catalogues - Argos have clothes now and so do Littlewoods...LXdirect.com - are described as mid-grey though, may be too light.

We got some from NEXT.

Have you tried kaysnet.com?

M&S i'm sur do them or try BHS - my ds wears dark grey trousers for school

I always find Asda good quality and v. reasonable. Matalan are quite good too.

DS1s Tescos trousers have lasted well but I think his had a combat style pocket on last year.

roisin · 05/09/2004 19:11

I've found Tescos trousers are better quality than Asda. Asda ones also tend to be a skinny fit; Tescos ones see to be very generous waist sizes. Don't think they are available online though.

Best ones I've found are from M & S and I do get them on-line as my local Marks doesn't stock school uniform.

This site looks good though I've not ordered from them yet so cant vouch for quality. Have a look
here

Your DS sounds like my dbro (bit of a tum!) Mum swears by BHS, teflon coated, elasticated waist £11 a pair.
