Paper bags

Can anyone advise me on where one can obtain paper bags like the ones you get Take Out in. Brown with handles type thing.

Ds 2 is on his first ever 'school' trip (he's in nursery) and needs to take a fully disposable packed lunch. Would rather use biodegradable paper bag than a plastic one as suggested.

TIA

From the take-away?

musicianswidowAKAmumofmonsters · 02/07/2007 11:01

have a take away and recycle the bag.

otherwise its likely you wil have to buy hundreds of the things!

chopster · 02/07/2007 11:02

what if it rains?

southeastastra · 02/07/2007 11:03

i have a couple i could post to you if you're not a in rush?

tassis · 02/07/2007 11:03

don't you have any carriers kicking around to use up?

MrsBadger · 02/07/2007 11:04

here
but you have to buy 100

If I was that worried I'd use a biodegradable plastic one

I would love to be able to afford the Take away but I can't. Tis a bit rude to just ask for bags unless you are a regular is it not Hathor?

They are indoors chopster, fear not.

Thanks. Don't mind too much buying in buly as can be used for party bags for both ds whose birthdays are coming up.

There are loads on ebay, but if you only want one then you're probably best just asking a take-away for one.

Hathor · 02/07/2007 11:06

Here - but you have to buy lots. They also sell on ebay.
You need to find out where they are made for ecofriendlyness.

Or go to Pret a Manger and beg for one?

Hathor · 02/07/2007 11:07

Sorry - sounded rude - didn't mean to be.
Ask your friends - we have some lying round the house - sure other people will have too.

Ooh, thanks Badger and SEA (I'll check out Badger's link and let you know!)

I have a couple of bags but I use them for other stuff and don't have that many because I mostly use reusable bags from France which are huuuge.

Also, a regular carrier would drag as he is only just taller than the bag itself!

oh, if using for parties get white ones (same price) and they can decorate their own
