Does anyone know if I can remove the cabling for the Virgin Media service that I don't use? I bought a flat in which the previous owner had installed VM and I think the cables are ugly. The walls of the flat are solid so the cabling runs along the skirting boards. I will never use VM and when their salesman came knocking at the door I asked him about getting rid of the cables. He said no and that if I removed them I would affect the service of other residents in the block of flats" and that I would have to pay a fee. Is this BS? I hate these cables.
