ignore if you like but I just had to share my pleasure after installing fireangel smoke detectors (they just go in the light fitting like a bulb & the bulb plugs into the unit). I ve hated the battery operated ones for so long as they're such a pain to switch off (not that I burn much toast) and the batteries are always going. I feel lovely and safe and secure now ahhhhhhhhhhhh
