boring query about broken fridge/freezer

My fridge and freezer is slowly dying. It's warming up and to the point now where the freezer is no longer freezing. Is there any hope? Should I just get a new one? It came with the house when we bought it and I'm not sure how old it is, just know that it's not new at all.

What do I do? Who repairs these things? Where's a good place to buy? What's a good brand? Please help me...

Thanks. I think we'll get a new one - do you like your Miele? The old one is a side by side American thing. Argh, they're all so expensive... sigh.

You might need a new thermostat. DH replaced ours on our fridge freezer to give it a new lease of life.
