I've got a 1.6 petrol...they're ok - very roomy and loads of little storage places, loads of room in the footwells at the back and height BUT when laden with kids and shopping/luggage etc it does struggle a bit up hills and tbh not brilliant on fuel economy either but it suits me and with the round town trips I do it's ideal and dead easy for parking.

i have the 2.0l dynamique, i got it in may

i have 4 kids a wheelchair and shopping to all fit in , and it does it all admirably

it's a doddle to park compared to my old honda shuttle

also meant to add that i have the grand scenic, so a 7 seater version

When I have to change cars again I will definitely go for something with a bigger engine....I went for 1.6 to save on tax etc and hoped it would be more economic than my car before that which was a 2.0 Mondeo - but no, its no more economic (well, I seem to visit the garage weekly anyway!) and its a bit sluggish uphill but on the motorway it flies. But its the ideal car with a family.

Best family car ever, Renault grand scenic. Weve got the 1.5l cdi Diesel, Get 600 miles on a 50l tank, its avarage mpg is 47.2 according to the cars computer.
