I bought a pair of their beach shoes for ds2 - they were good quality.

Scootergrrrl · 25/06/2007 19:11

No, but I will now!

Had some for dd and they were very sweet and nicely made.

I wonder why they are so cheap then. DD wore them when I got in and seemed to love them. they look good quality too. Ummmm....very strange!

I brought some and they gave my daughter blisters, the stitching was coarse and rubbed her ankle and the sole not very flexible.

Ecmo · 25/06/2007 21:48

poor chipmonks....I do hope they were treated humanely

Wolfgirl · 26/06/2007 11:15

ah Tulip....we need to know this, becaue they do look very well made, but for such a cheap price, there has to be a fly doesnt there!

OK, I will watch out for blisters and such things, and report back. Darn it, thought Id found something then!

they sell them in Brantano

yaddayah · 26/06/2007 11:19

dd has had two pairs (a white pair very similar to yours) and a very funky pink pair .. both have been brilliant (IMO I prefer them to (whisper) Clarks).. very well made.. I also wondered about the price

Damn you've put my secret out on MN

I retract everything ... they're rubbish !

My dd had some (MIL paid £14 in shoefayre or some shop like that) and they were FAB. My only problem was that they only come in average width fitting and dd has a narrow foot. Other than that, they were lovely, soft leather, sturdy sole, no blisters, they were great!

paolosgirl · 27/06/2007 20:31

I bought a pair once, and they were fine. I think they're cheaper because they don't come in various width fittings - other than that, they're just as well made as Clarks imo.

bubblerock · 27/06/2007 20:47

They do them on a wholesale site that I looked at, I decided not to stock shoes in the end but they have some nice styles, I think ds has had some before and they were fine.
