Where can I buy deep fitted sheets?

We have a king size bed and have added an overlay on top, so we need deeper sheets. Looking for cotton but not too expensive, had a quick internet trawl but looking for something in the High St, really.

Thanks.

We had this problem, all our fitted sheets kept popping off of the bed. So I brought some new 100% cotton ones from Ikea and they're great. I think they were about £12 each but it's so nice to to have to keep putting the flaming things back on. The old ones have gone in the dust sheet box for decorating!!!!!

thanks woodpops, I used to live very near to an Ikea but I'm now about 100 miles from one! (sob).

The White Company are great for bed sheets. Buy online, telephone, or shops. Mine have never pinged off the bed and we have a deep mattress. I think they are about £20 and egyptian cotton.

thanks trouble, I think I will give them a call as I looked at their website but couldn't see anything about deep-fitting sheets, but the prices are quite reasonable - thanks again.

I need some too as I have the same problem. Have you tried Debenhams Jodee?

jodee · 01/09/2004 22:39

Hi Delgirl, no I haven't yet - guess I'm going to have to drragggg myself across to that side of town (hardly ever go there now as Castlepoint is so close) - oh, have you tried M&S at all?

read something on there though that said for deeper matresses just buy next size up so you could maybe try superkingsize (or are these hard to find also?)

jodee · 10/09/2004 20:13

Earlygirl, thanks for suggesting La Redoute, I have the catalogue and they have the deep fitted sheets in there, haven't got them yet but I'm sure they are what I need - thanks again.

We had the same problem with the sheets popping off the corner of the mattress !! I went to M&S and bought one of their easy care sheets - a bit pricey at £24 but absolutely great - so great it feels like a swanky hotel bed now...lush

Debenhams stock Sheridan Australian bed linen in 100% cotton, who do a 14" deep fitted sheet in king and superking.

Dunelm also do eyptian cotton ones, lots of Dunelms opening all over the country, they do a large range of sheets, towels etc including brand names. If you go to their website, there might be one near you.

My BIl uses spoonerisms a lot and once went into a store and asked about fitted sheets!!!!!

jane313 · 11/09/2004 16:49

I think John Lewis does specially deep fitted ones. I got ones from M&S and Bhs recently and they seem pretty deep.
