I use Dermalogica Daily Exfoliant (which I use about once a week). It's very gentle but my skin feels good afterwards, don't know why I don't use it more really!

lulupop · 01/09/2004 08:45

I also love Dermalogica, but I use the skin prep scrub. Gentle but effective. Get it at HQHair.com - they deliver really quickly.

LipstickMum · 01/09/2004 08:52

Another vote for anything Dermalogica

Miriam2 · 01/09/2004 08:52

IME you don't need to spend much on exfoliators. Have tried Clarins etc but find cheaper ones just as good. Currently got Botanics purifying face scrub (dh uses it too!) and Sainsbury's Active naturals (or something) which smells of strawberries- both are good

MancMum · 01/09/2004 09:51

or try using a muslin cloth with your usual cleanser - I have been doing this with Eve Lom cleanser and don't use exfoliator any more and skin is loads better than when I did... I think you could just use muslin with any cleanser...

Hi all
Have any of you tried plain simple sugar??
Just dampen and rub over your face, rinse off, do this before showering though as it does stick in your hair.
Also just the ticket on dry hands, again dampen and rub around well, rinse and mosturize, really nothing better, smooth as a babys bum!!

Eve Loom - fantastic stuff, a bit dear but it lasts a very long time and leaves skin looking fantastic. I think M&S do their own version of it but never tried it myself. It supposed to be good too.

crunchie · 01/09/2004 13:41

If you are near and ASDA their 'Face' range has a good exfoliator. I love it and it is only a couple of quid!!

granarybeck · 01/09/2004 21:41

can you buy eve lom stuff from usual places, boots etc or from salons?

Branster · 01/09/2004 21:49

i only saw it at space NK, couldn't find it on the net either.

tamum · 01/09/2004 21:52

Liz Earle does a nice version of Eve Lom (well, it comes with a little muslin cloth, anyway). Boots do a version too, but Liz Earle's is nicer. I must try the real thing.....

spacemonkey · 01/09/2004 22:05

I had some Eve Lom and it is lovely stuff (but a bit of a palaver if you go the whole hog massaging with the muslin cloth). Hideously expensive though and not good enough to make me buy more! Where do you get Liz Earle stuff from?

tamum · 01/09/2004 22:07

You can get it directly from them here , spacemonkey. It all comes nicely wrapped and there's often a wee free gift. I love it

spacemonkey · 01/09/2004 22:10

ta tamum

granarybeck · 01/09/2004 22:12

oo, thanks, might treat myself and try the liz earle stuff.

DelGirl · 01/09/2004 22:12

Hello Spacemonkey

spacemonkey · 01/09/2004 22:13

ello DG how are you?

polly28 · 01/09/2004 22:14

Lush do a brilliant exfoliant called "angels on bare skin" or something like that. It's really leaves skin feeling great and lasts absolutely ages.

DelGirl · 01/09/2004 22:16

spacemonkey · 01/09/2004 22:17
