I'm putting my Kitchen larder cupboard together and don't have the standard Family sized packet. I want to make sure at least one level will fit it. Cheers.

500g is 12 inches. My shelf is 13.5 inches below the next one.

Many many thanks

Is 500g the large one, or 750g?

Just measured my 750g packet of crunchy nut cf and its 13inches (33cm) and just fits my cupboard. I have to cut the top off the really big boxes of rice crispies as they won't fit.

I've allowed 15 inches for an open packet. Thanks for that. Its a small thing but blooming annoying if things don't fit.
