i use sharpies alot! they're great. i find them the best for school clothes as the labels always fall off. also great for water bottles/lunch boxes. and they now come in tons of colours!

so do you write names on school clothes with sharpie pen? on labels?

yes

do they rub off inside gym shoes etc

they do wear off eventually but it's easier than keep sewing on new tapes
