We have pine furniture in our bedroom, (bed, wardrobe, dresser, bed side tables) and I have taken a notion (i get them) to have them stripped and painted washed white. I know I could prob do myself, but 1)crap at diy, 2) 2 kids, 3)see 1 and 4)scared make a mess of it see 1. So would like someone to do this. Does anyone know of someone, or a company who would do this. Live just outside Watford (just inside M25)

have you tried in the interiors section of the yellow pages?

You can have the pine stripped at a pine stripping place. I have recently had loads of doors done. they pick them up and drop them off.

The painting side, i would think there are places that do special effects on wood, maybe even a painter and decorator could do it?

I do know someone but we are on the kent coast, so it would most probably be way too far!
