anyone bought one of those ab trainer thingys from shopping channels? and do they work?

I am so tempted to buy one of those ab pro ab king things that claim to get rid of your flabby belly. But before I get rid of my hard earned cash, will I buy it and use it for a few weeks then stow it under the bed for ever and a day?

Is that one of the swivelly ones? Dh has one (Argos). He swears by it, but has no time to use it. I hate the bloody thing, because ALL ab exercises just hurt my back, always have, even at peak of fitness. What can I say? I'm a freak of nature To me, it just takes up space I could be using for shoe storage. I just use my swiss ball for crunches, and back extensions/hamstring curls, so I get 3 exercises out of one item IYSWIM!
