Dh has come up trumps!! Not only has he said he will pay for a cleaner, he said we can afford a new pc as well - HURRAH FOR DH!!
However, I've just been trawling the internet and am now very confused about what to get and what to ask for. I don't really want to go to pc world as they have got such a bad rep; i think something like dell might be ok, but i don't know what i'm looking for exactly.
I use my pc for - internet, wordprocessing and spreadsheets, digital photography, and that's about it really. It needs to be ibm rather than apple so that it's compatible with the computers at work. I'd also like a dvd and cd-burner. I wouldn't mind having a go at downloading music from the internet. I'd like a good quality printer for doing work documents and photos - inbuilt scanner and fax would be good but not essential.
Anyone clever got any advice for me (in idiot-proof english)?
