Anyone drive a meriva? Dashboard light help!

Recent new car and there's a dashboard light that I can't seem to find in the manual. I think it DRL notification but I'm not 100% sure I've played with a few switches and can't seem to get to change. It isn't headlights/main beam as there are other notifications for this o the dash. Pic included.

Which light? The green one?

NoSquirrels · 18/11/2018 16:41

The green light? That is headlights.

Randomname28 · 18/11/2018 16:42

The green one is when your lights are off. If you turn it to the right to turn full beam on, it should go off and a light will go on on the left hand side

tranquilitybasehotel · 18/11/2018 16:43

If it isn't your headlights I would say it's DRL yes.

DeathMetalMum · 18/11/2018 16:51

Yes green light. Not headlights I've flicked the switches backwards and forwards and there's a light in a different area (on the left like pp) for the headlights. Thanks I'm now certain it must be the DRLs.

helpfulperson · 19/11/2018 17:15

SillySallySingsSongs · 19/11/2018 17:19

That’s at least 3 of you that need to go back to school lol. It’s definitely not fog lights but does look suspiciously like the DRL one pictured above. That’s the first car I’ve seen which actually tells you the DRLs are on.

Quite a few of the vauxhalls do.

Yeah, must be a strange Vauxhall thing. Seems pointless telling you about something you have no control over and that has nothing to do with the operation of the car. They must have a reason for it.

DeathMetalMum · 20/11/2018 21:33

Yes I think it's pointless, but at least I know what it is now. It goes off when you put the headlights or sidelights (which are not as bright) on. Hmm
