Has anyone brought a buggy {phil and ted} from ebay and if so who from? Were they any good.

also, is it worth forking out the extra for the new Sport model?

If one child is 25mths when number 2 is born, is it worth investing in a P&T, or going for a cheaper model (e.g. Marco Sky L, or Cosatto Duet lite)? What about if you are very tall (well over 6ft?)

Hope you don't think I am hijacking your thread Holsnovell - but also interested in comments on performance as well as suppliers.

I had a Marco sky for Ds and dd1 as there was a 26mth gap and it was fine. Only thing is dont get it unless you are at least 5ft7.

When I found out I was pg with DD2 I sold the marco sky as there was only going to be a 12mth gap this time. I got a side by side which was horrendous and I hated going out with it so bought a second hand P+T. I love it,by far the best pram I have had so far[and I have had a few]. Only thing I dont like is when DD2[5mths] is in back seat her head lolls forward when she is asleep which apparently shouldnt happen on the new sport model due to the toddler seat reclining.I tend to sit DD2 in the front as DD1 hopes in and out!!Apart from the seat thing I dont know if it is worth paying out for the sport. I love the fact I can push P+T one handed so if DD1 or DS is holding my hand it is easy to still push. The basket is a decent size even with the seat on it[today I had half a weeks shopping in it}

thats ok anon. my age gap will be 22 months and if i am honest i want a p and t cos they look the best and once toddler doesnt use buggy you can have single again! plus the new sport double seat reclines which like nemo was saying is kind of worthwhile.
