Where can I buy plain yellow socks for DS (3.5)?

DS wants some plain yellow socks (having read One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Two Fish and being very keen on the page with yellow socks box gox).

His black socks with yellow toes and heels Will Not Do.

Any suggestions (I have been searching ineffectively online )?

Oh how bizarre-dd (2yrs) has been asking for yellow socks since last week and I can't find any either....

Maybe you could try the school uniform department of John Lewis, Peter Jones, etc? DD needed some green socks for her school sports team, and that is where we were sent to buy them.

If you're really desperate, you could buy this multipack and just use the yellow ones. OK, technically they're girls' socks, but hopefully that won't matter...

John Lewis is a good idea Earlybird - hadn't thought of school uniform socks. Suppose there are probably football socks as well, but they'd be a bit big I think.

Next always seems to have a vast range of boys' socks and you might find yellow in a multipack. Also Gap do good plain socks, different colours every season so some yellow ones might be around (possibly in girls' if not boys').
