Another pushchair question

I'm becoming a bit of a pushchair addict. i have two already. A M&P orb 3 in 1 (fantastic for most things, except off road and on the bus) and a urban detour (fantastic for off road but again not on the bus) so now I need a 'on the bus' pushchair.

So my requirements are...

  • cheap (my DH is not impressed with my pushchair addiction)
  • lightweight
  • easy to fold
  • large shopping basket
  • comfortable

Any ideas gratefully received. I would love one which faces both ways but know that this is unlikely!

facing both ways - loola, but not that light.

maclaren quest or triumph, ace but the shopping basket small but can hang things off handles

graco citisport or mothercare citilite (same thing really) huge basket, v light, cheap, easy to fold, comfortable I believe.

how about the quinny buzz? older model if money is tight? but then some people found that heavy- i didnt though

does the apple buggys face both ways?

icandy cherry is good and fits most of your requirements - it faces both ways too but you do have to take the seat off to fold (then can fold frame v easily). Not that cheap - around £200 for the buggy without carrycot bit. VERY light, huge shopping basket and great manouveribility. I've bought one for our LO which is due to pop out any day now - so I've yet to test it in reality but did extensive research when buying...

Hmm, there's a thread out today on which a couple of people have had probs with things going wrong on their cherries. Only a couple though, so definitely worth considering. It's only been out a couple of months so is still in the process of proving itself I think...
