We've put a deposit on a 5 seat nissan x-trail but after some discussion decided we actually need an "occational 7 seater" . Does anyone know if we would be able to have the 5 seater converted into a 7 seater how much it would cost and who could do this for us. We live in the south. Many thanks

No, it’s not possible. You will need to buy the 7 seat version.

I'd really question if you need the 7 seater, we went for one and it hasn't been used once and all it does is make the dog crate slanted in the boot.

Needsanewname ...There lies the problem we probably don't need a 7 seater all the time but on occasion it would be handy for day trips with nanny ect ...
