Ideas for which big car to get needed

Hi
Any suggestions as to cars that would be big enough for our family...?

We are all very tall and big. 2 big adults, 2 big teens that are still driven to school due to out of town/distance. Plus a further large adult and wheelchair. Lots of sports kit, a cello, as well and generally loads of stuff. We really need lots of leg room for all of the people in the car as none are under 6ft. No budget as yet as if too expensive we’ll do a lease.

I always recommend Volvos on these threads. A V70 or XC60 or XC90 would be perfect.

We are a tall family and have had an ongoing nightmare finding a car that can fit two rear facing car seats behind the driver and passenger whilst still allowing the tall people in the front to be able to sit vaguely comfortably. The lesson we’ve learned is that size of car does not necessarily equate to amount of leg room. Lots of larger cars are longer but the internal space is taken up with a huge bonnet/engine or massive seats (discovery is an example of the former, Range Rover is an example of the latter). We have settled on an XC90 but it’s a squash - in all honesty the Ford s max had a LOT more legroom in both front and back. One of the Skoda estates is huge from an internal perspective but again you will want to balance that with what you want with regards to spec
