Which steam generator iron would you recommend?

I'm on to my 3rd now!
Have a Russell Hobbs and it started emitting smoke today, (don't think it should do that).
Had it just over a year so the warranty has run out, it's been hammered by constant use, so I'll have to buy a new one.
Some are soo expensive and others are only £40!
Any recommendations or special offers that you know of please.
