If you have a Phil & Teds When did you transfer the baby from lieflat position to the seat?

I know it says 6 mths but do people actually wait that long

Also do you put the smaller child in the back seat as instructed or not?

TIA

We bought the p&t when ds2 was just 5 months, and he was fine in the seat. Always put ds1 in the back seat, because he was the one getting in and out out all the time, so it was stupid to have ds2 in the back with the front seat empty.

I have teh bigger one in the back as DS HATES being in the back and screams the whole time. As they are close in age and weight it doesn't matter too much. DS went into the front seat at about 5months because he got fed up lying down all the time.

5 months here too

Thanks - are there any issues with it tipping if you have the heavier one in the back?

5mths here too. DD2 is too nosey and wants to be sitting up looking around and cries if we try to lie her flat. Although DD1 is nearly 18mths so tend to put dd2 in front and dd1 walks/pops in and out the back now.

Nemo2007 · 13/06/2007 11:08

I had mine tip once but I hadnt strapped dd1 in and she stood up against the back of the seat. As long as they dont do that there is no tipping with them just sitting down.

DS2 moved to front seat at around 4mths (he is massive and was sitting up already!) and DS2 pops in and out of back seat as and when, it is just an occasional seat for him, as he is getting bigger I tend to leave the back seat off more and more.

Thank you
