Vauxhall Corsa 2007.
Leaking this fluid slowly for the last few days... from the right hand rear of the car. It’s booked into a garage to be looked at tomorrow...

I'm a long way from a car expert! But that's a shock absorber, and it looks like it's leaking oil? If it is oily it's a piston seal failure, and could be a fairly cheap rebuild with new seals or a less cheap new piston.

I've had that on my motorbike, it was ~£60 for a double shock absober rebuild with a pair of seal replacements.

Yes, looks like its coming from the struts (hydraulic fluid). So you may need to get them swapped out as prob cracked.

Your car won't blow up or anything, but you need to get it sorted.

Thank you - my friend has guessed the same issue of shock/hydraulic oil.

As others have said looks like a shock needing replacement. Only other thing could be a brake fluid leak but I’d bet on the shocker. Best practice to replace in pairs, should be a quick and cheap job.
