They make you into a toy!

Am not sure babies need stimulating when feeding, although when they get to the 4 month grabby stage its good to have something for them to hold. But imagine wearing the top out!

PMSL
Was always about changing bags with teddies and nursery prints.

BettySpaghetti · 12/06/2007 13:50

At £35 a t-shirt I'll have 7, one for every day of the week please!
NOT

MrsBadger · 12/06/2007 13:53

much better

PrettyCandles · 12/06/2007 13:53

PMSL.

Actually, not such a bad idea - if totally lacking in style.

The bracelet and scarf certainly free your hands - I'm forever attaching straps to toys so that I can hold on to the strap and don't have to be picking them up all the time.

My mum has a jumper with all sorts of graphic patterns in it that utterly fascinates babies. Up to about 4-5m they are hypnotised by it, and then for the next 3-4m they are driven wild by it and bat it and try to grab the patterns.

funny t shirt! a baby really is a fashion accessory.

My first child used to look at our old floral sofa for hours as a baby. pooor number 2 just has a plain one.

"The stimulation zones on this vibrant Yes! SuperBaby? Top are positioned on the chest area and on the sleeves as the baby pays most attention to these areas when in the arms of the parent/carer"
Er, that's because it's hoping for some grub! It's not even designed for BF is it?

LynetteScavo · 12/06/2007 14:06

How funny! I wouldn't be seen dead in one!

I thought the whole point of baby toys was to keep baby entertained while mum put the baby down?

Do you think they'll catch on for nursey staff?

EmeraldGreen · 12/06/2007 14:10

Thats a pretty good breastfeeding top - it's like a picture for baby to look at I wouldn't wear it, maybe round the house?

MySandraAngel · 12/06/2007 16:45

It's a great breastfeeding top, I have bought one at the last Baby Show. My baby loves the faces and curvy lines and he feeds so much better when I put it on and doesn't fall asleep so quickly. Makes breastfeeding more fun and easier.

I wish Yes! SuperBaby had launched their stimulation top when my 1st child was born. I would have breastfed more successfully then. I like the design, it really looks funky.

BTW, did you know that they run a baby model competition for their next campaign. Check it out on www.yessuperbaby.com

Hmm
Nbg · 12/06/2007 17:01

God you'd look like a right twunt with them on!

TheArmadillo · 12/06/2007 17:03

funnily enough only post (not talking about op)
Advertising anyone

bobsmum · 12/06/2007 17:04

THey really are minging IMO. Look like something Timmy Mallett would have passed on to Oxfam...

bumperlicious · 12/06/2007 17:05

Just reported it as thought the same...

msappropriate · 12/06/2007 17:47

I always liek it when my baby falls asleep feeding. I can have quality me time then, even if its just watching daytime tv!

OP posts:
LynetteScavo · 12/06/2007 17:53

But what if your'e wearing it and someone pops around unexpectedly

SoupDragon · 12/06/2007 17:57

"The top also includes two rings that allow to attach rattles, teethers, books or small toys."

Just get your nipples pierced instead.

TheArmadillo · 12/06/2007 17:59

rofl

When I was bfding ds the last thing I needed for him was more distraction.

bundle · 12/06/2007 18:01

pmsl.

perhaps the mum in that picture could staple a few softplay blocks to her arse when her child gets bigger

ChippyMinton · 12/06/2007 18:25

Like the nipple piercing suggestion. My DC were always hiding under my skirts...

TheArmadillo · 12/06/2007 18:26

What would you be getting pierced then

gscrym · 12/06/2007 18:38

I can just imagine an elite mums and baby group where they all wear these. They'll also have optional flashcard pockets on each boob so as not to waste valuable learning time whilst feeding.

BettySpaghetti · 12/06/2007 20:41

They missed a vital opportunity to make it multi-sensory though.

They could have inserted a portable CD player in there somewhere so you could play CDs to stimulate and educate your baby at the same time (classical music, French, nuclear physics ...the possibilities are endless)
