Good and cheap dishwasher tablets

Hi. Can anyone recommend any good and cheap dishwasher tablets. I have been using Finish Quantum. Been looking at reviews and decided to go for Tesco everyday tablets but our locals and major supermarkets don't stock and can't order them online either. Any suggestions plz

Morrisons Savers - £2 for 40 and they wash really well

Millipedewithherfeetup · 26/09/2018 07:16

Have tried all the cheapies and can honestly say it's just a waste if money...stick to finish or fairy you really can see the difference after using shops own brands.

theboxofdelights · 26/09/2018 07:18

I agree with Millipede, the results from cheap tabs is generally poor ime.

I stick to finish, I buy large quantities of them when they are on offer.

Aldi
Break in half -does the job perfectly !

bellinisurge · 26/09/2018 07:19

Aldi ones are great.

WhereIsBlueRabbit · 26/09/2018 07:21

We find Sainsbury's own brand are fine - we live in a hard water area and what does make the difference for us is salt and rinse aid.

theboxofdelights · 26/09/2018 07:25

Must add - have never tried Aldi or Lidl because they aren't convenient for me.

I don't use rinse aid with the fancy Finish ones so that is a bit of a saving. At Ocado a bag of 80 max something or another is currently half price at £10, I bought four bags last week which will last me about ten months!

Defender90 · 26/09/2018 07:27

Ecover ones are really good, better than Finish IMHO and are often on special in Tesco, I stock up when they are.

PiperPublickOccurrences · 26/09/2018 07:29

We don't use rinse aid or salt as we have very soft water. Have tried numerous over the years and Finish is definitely the best, the 4 in 1 style, not the quantum. I get them in a big pack from Home Bargains.

Fairylea · 26/09/2018 07:30

I’ve tried all the own brand ones and nothing compares to Fairy Platinum. You can see the difference in how shiny the pots and pans are. Nothing else gets anything quite as clean - but - we live in a very, very hard water area (Norfolk) so maybe some of it is down to that. I use additional salt and rinse aid as well even though the tablets are supposed to be all in one.

BlingLoving · 26/09/2018 07:34

Lidl. Will never go back.

SummerStrong · 26/09/2018 07:34

Morrison's, Sainsburys own brands and aldi dishwasher tablets are great. My dishes sparkle, I'd never pay inflated prices for branded tablets again, after realising the cheaper ones do exactly the same job.

dementedpixie · 26/09/2018 07:36

I like fairy and but them on offer or frim home bargains. I use own brand salt and rinse aid too

dementedpixie · 26/09/2018 07:36

Buy*

colditz · 26/09/2018 07:37

I live in a very hard water area and I h\ave found that using two very cheap dishwasher tablets is far cheaper and more effective that using one branded tablet.

I buy them from places like Poundland

I didn't know you could still buy powder Espresso, that is amazingly cheap isn't it.

That works out exactly the same as a box of tablets but they last over 3 months broken in half .

barleyreed · 26/09/2018 07:52

Aldi ones are great, but their slightly more expensive ones, think they are called All in One? I actually have Finish Quantum at the moment as I couldn't get to an Aldi and I wouldn't know the difference!

Furrycushion · 26/09/2018 07:53

I've never been able to see any difference so buy whatever is on offer, or the basic ones. Costco ones in a big tub if I go there.
