Cordless Iron

My iron has given up and I was thinking abput getting a cordless one. Are they any good? Or should I just stick to a normal one. I don't want to spend loads so won't be getting a steam generator.

stick to a normal one- the cordless ones are a pain as you have to wait for lights to go out, rush ironing a shirt then put the iron back to heat up again etc!
PITA!!
bog standard steam iron is the way to go!

I wouldn't bother either. After a while mine wouldn't even fit/connect in the stand properly.

Agree standard steam iron is best.

Thanks, glad I didn't buy one now. I'll just get a steam one. The cheapest cordless I could get was £23 so I'll get a half decent steam corded one for that.
