Anyone found anything as good as this but cheaper??

We found that Amtico stains quite easily despite using the correct protective cleaning stuff.

I use a lot of Amtico on projects, and also have it at home. I love it, the finishes are great and I've had little problem maintaining it.

I'm surprised you've had problems Grrr - I'd get the rep in to have a look at what's going wrong, if I were you!

Karndean do a product which is similar, and they do have some decent finishes, but I don't think it's as hardwearing. It's fine for domestic use though.

We found that on white marble effect tiles is has discoloured anywhere something has stood on it for a while (eg the kitchen bin, the cat food mat). A curry stain made the night before a fortnight's holiday and not spotted until we returned has never come completely clean.

The bathrooms are both still as good as new though, perhaps I just wouldn't recommend white marble effect tiles.

We used Karndean and found it great.
