Hello,

I am currently undergoing a master's degree dissertation thesis. My topic is assessing the barriers that are currently stopping the general public from switching to electric vehicles. I have created a questionnaire to aid my research on my chosen topic. I would be extremely grateful if you could take a couple minutes out your day to complete it.

Any participation and feedback are greatly appreciated.

Done, my issue with an EV is that I would like a direct replacement for my existing SUV and Pickup.

Hi

I’ve filled your survey in. I was going to purchase a EV, but it seemed too slow, and the electric points were not close to my work. They were also small cars. As above, a direct or near direct replacement would be good.

I read that a 2nd hand EV would cost £16k.
I bought my expensive car 2nd hand for £8k.
No brainer.
There are charge points at work... my work may change next year. We would realistically have to have a charge point at home, they seem to be pricey.

I have done this for you.

I think they are very expensive for what they have to offer.
They look sort of practical for city driving but a let down for anything else.

I think the infrastructure is still developing, also I think more needs to be discussed about the environmental impact of making and disposing of the batteries,
